Dr Daniel Benitti is graduated at the University of São Paulo (USP): “Faculdade de Medicina da Universidade de São Paulo“.

After completion of his undergraduate degree, he specialized in General Surgery and Trauma at Hospital of the USP and soon after in Vascular and Endovascular Surgery at the Department of Vascular and Endovascular Surgery, USP Hospital das Clinicas.

In 2009 he applied for medical preceptor of the discipline of Vascular and Endovascular Surgery, Hospital das Clinicas, USP, and was approved in 1st place.

Served as preceptor physician, Department of Vascular and Endovascular Surgery, Hospital das Clinicas, USP in 2010 and during the same period was chief of surgical preceptors, Hospital das Clinicas, USP.

In the year 2013 he was the first Brazilian to be approved and carry the “Vascular and Endovascular Surgery Fellowship International” in New York, under the guidance of Prof. Manish Mehta at Albany Medical Center, a world reference center for endovascular procedures with one of the highest numbers procedures of the aorta in the world.

Dr. Daniel Benitti was also part of the Department of Vascular and Endovascular Surgery, Hospital AC Camargo acquiring extensive experience in implant catheters for chemotherapy and bone marrow transplantation.

In 2011, along with Dr. Alexandre Amato created the Course Osirix. Course that teaches how to use this important software that allows to view any examination of medical imaging, aiding in the diagnosis of disease and in planning surgical procedures.
It became the only course outside Europe, certified by “OsiriX Foundation”, Genève.

Dr. Daniel Benitti presents himself as Specialist in Vascular Surgery by the Brazilian Society of Angiology and Vascular Surgery and Specialist in Angioradiology and Endovascular Surgery, by the Brazilian Society of Angiology and Vascular Surgery and the Brazilian College of Radiology.

Dr. Daniel Benitti is the author of several book chapters and scientific articles in national and international journals.

Currently, Dr. Daniel Benitti is reference in the treatment of vascular disease and endovascular procedures, having held various procedures in Latin America, Europe and the United States plus live surgeries at international conferences, and is always present in major national and international conferences as a teacher.

He is the main investigator of the Multilayer stent flow modulator for the treatment of thoracic abdominal aneurysms in Latin America, with surprising results.

Member of the Brazilian Society of Angiology and Vascular Surgery and Deputy publishing director and chief Angioradiology and Endovascular Surgery Department in Sao Paulo.

Member of societies: International Society for Vascular Surgery and Society for Vascular Surgery since 2012.
